Reef Life Pro is a comprehensive marine identification app available in the iOS App Store.

This application can be downloaded for free, and users have the option to purchase a specific group of species they wish to explore.

Reef Life currently features a database of nearly 2,500 species across 17 categories, each meticulously documented and professionally photographed (3,300+ images).

Designed for divers, snorkelers, and aquarium enthusiasts, this app is not only a tool for species identification but also serves as an educational resource about marine life.

One of the latest updates includes GPS coordinates for over 200 internally defined oceanic regions and sub-regions, allowing users to easily identify species based on their location.

 <li>Users can choose from 31 pre-defined menu-based regions such as "Caribbean Sea" or "Australia, tropical," enabling them to view species specific to those areas.</li>
 <li>By manually placing "pins" on an interactive map, users can search for species in exact locations and save these searches in their "myPlaces" folder.</li>
 <li>The app also offers the option to view only species present in the user's current location with the "species in my current location" feature.</li>
</ul>

Moreover, Reef Life now allows users to contribute by adding their own species to the app along with detailed information and images. Additionally, users can edit or update details related to user-created species.

For users of 3D Touch devices, a quick access feature has been implemented, along with a new "zoom view" function on the image page, enabling zooming into specific spots on images.

The format for displaying presented species within each menu can be toggled between list view and grid view according to individual preferences, simplifying the process of identifying marine animals.

In addition to its features, Reef Life emphasizes marine life conservation and education through extensive sections covering education and conservation topics spanning over 50 pages.

Developed in Swift, Apple's latest programming language, this interactive app requires no internet connection—an essential feature for scuba divers exploring remote dive locations or during boat trips.
